Jamaica State Park, located in South Central Vermont is a wonderfully peaceful place to take a leisurely walk along the West River, enjoy the refreshing swimming hole, picnic near the river, camp in our beautiful campground or, for the more energetic -- hike to Hamilton Falls (a 125' high waterfall)!
There is a modern playground for childrenand a picnic shelter/pavilion that would accommodate around 50. Visit the Nature Center which abounds with artifacts of local history as well as educational displays.
During July and August we offer numerous Naturalist programs.
The park is a short scenic walk from Jamaica Village where you could enjoy unique as well as practical shopping, eating, worshiping and banking.
Come visit for a few hours or a few days -- Jamaica has the Vermont characteristics everyone hopes to find!
